Polar Bears and Global Warming Video

Polar bears are more and more emerging as endangered due to several issues featuring industry projects, ice in their natural environment melting, and human interaction. By far the biggest culprit is the change in the natural environment of the polar bear. Various life-threatening situations are actually created for these cool climate bears when the ice melts. Global warming that is associated to industrialization and activities such as driving a car, burning coal, as well as additional human projects generates the ice melting.

Ice melting need to be actually a core focus of conservation efforts for the polar bear as this is actually impacting the polar bear the most. Polar bears depend on substantial blocks of moving ice to perform their day-to-day activities linked to thriving. Polar bears prey on fat-laden seals from these stops of ice, they mate, as well as some also deliver their cubs on them. This impacts their capacity to reproduce as well as carry their cubs to term that immediately impacts human population quantities. Even, when ice is too a long way from land, polar bears are going to wipe out trying to swim far distances to locate them. All of these elements have actually made the polar bear more land bound.

What is a cause you’re passionate about? Even if you’re not involved in it– what cause are you passionate about? What in the earth do you want to fix? Water conservation? Recycling? Polar bear saving (or animal extinction in general)? Ocean cleanup? Poverty awareness? Volunteer work? Natural disaster relief? It could be anything. Tell me why you’re passionate about it and what you do to help. It would be absolutely great if you could answer, because I think everyone has a little bit of them that really wants to help the world.

I received a kidney and pancreas transplant in 2005, because a mom was kind enough at a time of great personal sorrow to allow her 14 year old son’s organs to be donated. So I am passionate about getting other people to donate and do volunteer work for that. It is discouraging when I read a news story like the one I read today; a 5 year old boy in Michican needed a heart, and died while waiting. Somewhere, there was a heart for that child. I know it means that another child dies to donate a heart to a child – but at least the donor family might have some healing and peace knowing that through donation, they kept up to 8 other families from going through the same heartache..

I’m passionate about helping animals. Why? Well, animals are just something a person loves. It’s adorable, cute, fun, playful. But most of all, it’s innocent. Animals are like babies; they don’t know about the world, they can’t tell what’s right from wrong. And when someone abuses them, well, that is just heart sickening, thinking that they could of done nothing, since they don’t know what’s right or wrong.(ex. a dog bites a human; he doesn’t know it was wrong, he was only trying to protect himself!)

My passion is recycling. I go to great lengths to recycle everything I get my hands on that can be recycled, and I even convinced my old fashioned parents to start a compost pile and recycle.

“I can kill polar bears anytime I want, anywhere I want, no matter what anybody says” ? http://www.economist.com/world/americas/displaystory.cfm?story_id=12652176 Given that eskimos , native canadians, and other savages have said this, and are busy hunting Polar Bears to extinction, why are animal rights activists and global warming nazis hissing and hyperventilating about turkeys and other domestic livestock or blaming dead polar bears on fossil fuels, or other such nonsense.? These people are responsible for damn near every mega-fauna extinction on this entire continent and are not content until they are completely dead. But political correctness apparently means you can’t say anything about this, unless you are writing from a British magazine. Why are American and Canadian magazines and newspapers afraid to expose these people for the brainless bloodthirsty killers they are? Patricia, it’s a direct quote from the Native Americans who are busy killing polar bears to extinction.

Some people think that the use of the world “savage” makes them better than others. Most of us realize that what the Europeans did to the Native AMericans was the real savagery. Click here and you will see that what you read was obviously out of context. Canada allows sport hunting of polar bears, when those permits are allocated then they allow SUBSISTENCE hunting by indigenous group. These groups must hunt in the traditional manner…with spears and bows and arrows…Hardly the biggest threat to polar bears. Our cars and our disposable consumer lifestyles are the real “savage” threat….Maybe take some cultural awareness classes…it will save you embarrassment in the future. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polar_bear

Do I really care about polar bears? Uh, no, not really…

    Did Sarah Palin say that?

Oh my goodness. how we rant and hate. the “savages’ have a right to continue their life style. and the biggest killer of Polar bears is starvation due to melting ice flows. But don’t let facts stop you for judging.

The Polar bear is going extict, whould you save it’s species? The White race is only, about 20% of the population worldwide, and decreasing. The White race is on the abyss of extinction, would you save it, as well?

  • Mike K says:

Hello, The polar bear needs protection as it has no control over our actions. On the other hand the white race only needs to screw and make more babies to up the ante as opposed to forsaking bigger families to have a higher lifestyle. Cheers, Michael Kelly
